About AI Training and Speech Data Work
AI systems learn from examples prepared and reviewed by people. Speech contributors help create reliable training data by transcribing recordings, checking audio quality, and identifying sections that cannot be understood with confidence.
This work is part of a fast-growing technology industry and can offer flexible, part-time opportunities. Careful language work directly supports how modern AI systems understand and process speech.
The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking native Japanese speakers currently located in Japan for long-term transcription and audio review work. You will work with short Japanese audio clips and produce clean, standardized verbatim transcripts that reflect what was said. This is not translation or creative writing.
The expected workload is approximately one hour per day, Monday through Friday, for 12 months or longer. You can complete tasks at a time that works for you each day while maintaining the required daily cadence. The pay rate is $15 per hour.
