ESI Technologies is a Quebec-based consulting firm specializing in information technology services for over 32 years.

We support organizations in their digital transformation initiatives, including architecture, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data, and IT service management projects.

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Microsoft Azure Developer who is eager to contribute to large-scale engagements while growing within a team recognized for its expertise and people-first approach.

Your Role

As a Microsoft Azure Developer, you will be responsible for:

Cloud & Application Development

  • Act as CMHC's Azure subject matter expert, providing technical leadership, mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Azure-based middleware integrations to enable secure and reliable data exchange across enterprise systems.
  • Build backend integrations using:
    • Azure Function Apps
    • Azure Logic Apps
    • .NET (C#)
  • Develop event-driven and serverless solutions aligned with cloud best practices.
  • Integrate Azure solutions with:
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365
    • APIs
    • Third-party applications
  • Implement automated workflows, API integrations, and data processing pipelines using Azure services.
  • Stay current with Azure technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance system capabilities.
DevOps & CI/CD
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using:
    • Azure DevOps
    • Azure Repos
    • Azure Pipelines
    • Azure Artifacts
    • YAML
  • Manage deployments across Azure environments, including:
    • App Services
    • Function Apps
    • API Management (APIM)
    • Key Vault
    • Monitoring solutions
  • Ensure secure and reliable deployments through:
    • Automated testing
    • Validation gates
    • Build automation
    • Release automation
Support & Operations
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production applications using:
    • Azure Monitor
    • Application Insights
    • Log Analytics
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve defects, incidents, and performance issues.
  • Participate in testing, deployment activities, and production support processes.
  • Support defect triage and issue resolution across development, testing, and production environments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying Azure cloud solutions.
  • Extensive experience with C# and .NET development.
  • Experience building cloud integrations and serverless solutions within Azure.
  • Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and overall development productivity while maintaining quality and security standards.
  • Proven experience serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentoring development teams.
Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Azure App Services
  • Azure Storage
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Azure Key Vault
  • Other Azure PaaS services
Additional expertise required:
  • Strong proficiency in .NET and C#
  • Cloud architecture principles, including:
    • Scalability
    • Load balancing
    • Distributed systems
  • Development best practices, coding standards, and secure design methodologies
  • Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Microsoft Azure Certifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
