Meta Ads Manager Needed for Small Shopify Candle & Wax Melt Brand

I'm looking for an experienced Meta Ads freelancer to help grow my small, independent Shopify business.

We're a Northern Ireland-based home fragrance brand selling hand-poured soy candles and wax melts to customers across the UK and Ireland.

I'm looking for someone to take responsibility for setting up and managing Facebook and Instagram advertising.

What I need help with:

- Reviewing my existing Meta Ads account, Pixel and Shopify conversion tracking to ensure everything is working correctly.

- Recommending a realistic advertising approach for a small business with limited sales history.

- Setting up and managing conversion-focused Meta campaigns aimed at generating Shopify purchases.

- Targeting relevant customers in the UK and Ireland.

- Writing ad copy and creating suitable ads using my existing product photography and video content.

- Monitoring campaigns, making adjustments and providing clear, straightforward performance updates.

Budget and working arrangement

My initial advertising spend would be approximately £300 per month, paid separately to Meta.

I'm self-funding the business, so I'm looking for someone who is comfortable working with smaller budgets and can be realistic about what is achievable.

I'd prefer to start with a clearly defined, paid trial covering account review, setup and initial campaign management, with the possibility of ongoing work if it's a good fit.

Experience I'm looking for

Ideally, you'll have proven experience with Meta Ads for Shopify or other e-commerce businesses, particularly small independent brands. Experience with candles, home fragrance, beauty, gifts or similar products would be a bonus.

Reliable communication is important to me. I'd like someone who explains what they're doing clearly and manages the advertising independently.

When applying, please tell me:

1. What experience do you have managing Meta ads for Shopify stores?

2. Have you managed campaigns with advertising budgets of £300 per month?

3. What would your recommended starting approach be for a small brand with limited sales history?

4. What would you charge for the initial setup and first month of management, and what would ongoing management cost?

5. Would you personally manage the campaigns, including ad copy and optimisation?

Please include examples of relevant previous work where possible.

I'm looking for a sensible, sustainable approach rather than promises of guaranteed sales or unrealistic returns.

Thank you!
