We’re looking for a Medical Transcriptionist to join our Histology team in Brampton, Ontario. The Medical Transcriptionist listens to medical reports recorded by healthcare practitioners and transcribe them into written form. Status: Permanent Full Time Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Discipline: Histology Work Style: Onsite Location: 115 Midair Court, Brampton, ON Internal Posting Deadline: July 10, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.(EST) Why Dynacare is an amazing place for YOU: * Join an award-winning "Top Employer" with meaningful and impactful career opportunities * Access a health and wellness benefits program that supports you and your loved ones * Grow and thrive with a dynamic, successful company through internal mobility opportunities * Invest in your future through RRSP match benefits and an employee stock purchase program * Experience a collaborative, diverse workforce that prioritizes dignity and respect for all How YOU will make a difference: * Prepare consultation reports for Pathologists and maintain records of incoming and outgoing reports * Maintain metrics such as turn-around-time audits, monthly report totals, report tracking time audits and other specialized reports * Perform administrative duties such as updating manuals, policies and procedures and preparing business documents such as minutes, memos, letters and labels * Assist the Pathologists and department head with special projects and surgical pathology QA program work * Other duties as assigned by the superior What YOU bring to the role: * Completion of a Medical Office Administration training program with previous experience in medical terminology and transcription * Demonstrated ability to data enter 40 WPM with 80% accuracy * Advanced ability to proof-read, identify and correct errors * Ability to multitask and work in a team environment * Demonstrated ability to self-manage, prioritize and collaborate in a team-oriented, high volume and time Working Conditions: * Normal office environment * Medical laboratory environment Pay rate: $19.75-$23.50 per hour The hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.
