Medical Scribe - REMOTE

Pay Scale: Based on experience. From $15 per hour. Location: Virtual. US RESIDENTS ONLY. Required Qualifications of the Medical Scribe : • 2+ years of medical scribing experience. • NOTE: Fluency in Spanish and English is an essential job requirement. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations. • Proficiency with reputed company (AthenaOne) EMR/EHR. • Experience supporting Senior Primary Care/Geriatric Medicine providers. • Experience documenting care for patients with chronic conditions and complex medical histories. • Knowledge of home health integrated care models: • Home health nursing services • In-home therapy services • Care coordination teams • Transitional care following hospital discharge • Understanding of care plans for elderly patients managing chronic illnesses or recovering from injuries or hospitalizations. • Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent computer literacy, technical aptitude, and basic troubleshooting skills. • Exceptional attention to detail. • Organization and time management skills • Technical/Computer Requirements of the Medical Scribe: • Reliable, high-speed internet connection (WIFI or ethernet) • USB headset with microphone • Laptop or desktop with updated security • Private and quiet workspace reputed company is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
