Medical Office Administrator/Receptionist

A solo urology practice in Etobicoke is seeking an experienced, organized Medical Office Administrator / Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will help run a welcoming, efficient, and professional front office. This is a great opportunity to help build a new practice and grow with it.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register patients; manage check-in and check-out
  • Book, confirm, and reschedule appointments in the EMR
  • Manage incoming referrals, phone calls, voicemails, faxes, and emails
  • Verify and update patient demographic, health card, and insurance information
  • Maintain confidential patient records in compliance with PHIPA
  • Handle general clerical duties and keep the office organized and welcoming

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of medical office administration or reception experience (required)
  • Experience with Accuro and/or Epic EMR is a strong asset
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation
  • Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills
  • Discretion with confidential information; reliable, punctual team player
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Ontario

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.

Pay: $18 – $24 per hour, commensurate with experience.
