Role Description The Marine Agent - Operations Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC. This position coordinates vessel calls, communicates with ship owners, charterers, and terminal operators, and ensures that port operations follow local regulations and customer requirements.

Daily tasks include preparing and managing documentation, monitoring vessel schedules, arranging services such as pilotage and towage, and updating stakeholders on operational status. The role also involves handling customer inquiries, supporting financial and disbursement processes, and identifying opportunities to improve service quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to review operational data, vessel schedules, and cost estimates, and to support effective decision-making.
