Maintenance & Repair Welder – NOC 72106

<p><strong>Wage:</strong> $36.00 per hour; full-time (37.5 hours)</p> <p><strong>Benefits:</strong> Medical & Dental</p> <p><strong>Location of Work:</strong> 6 Hyde Avenue, Toronto, ON M6M 1J3</p> <p><strong>Primary Duties & Responsibilities include:</strong><br /> • Inspecting and assessing equipment and structures for damages that require welding repairs<br /> • Interpreting blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine the required method and sequence of welding operations<br /> • Using a variety of welding techniques, such as arc welding, MIG welding, or TIG welding, to repair and maintain equipment and structures<br /> • Testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and ensure conformance to specifications<br /> • Maintaining welding tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order<br /> • Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, and flux, according to welding chart specifications or types and thicknesses of metals.<br /> • Ensuring all welding operations are conducted in accordance with safety standards and regulations<br /> • Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.<br /> • Performing preventative maintenance tasks and identifying potential issues before they lead to serious problems<br /> • Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.<br /> Job Requirements<br /> • Proven experience as a Welder with a minimum of 3-years in sheet metal fabrication & welding machinery<br /> • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, squares, calipers etc.).<br /> • A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.<br /> • Strong technical knowledge of blueprints and welding diagrams.<br /> • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift heavy materials up to 50 pounds.</p> <p><strong>How to Apply:</strong> send resume by email to: <strong>HR@sensogroup.ca</strong></p> <p><strong>Company:</strong><br /> Senso Group Building Supplies Inc.<br /> 5413 Edencroft Cres<br /> Mississauga, ON L5M 4M8</p>
