Long-term IT Node Host in Alberta for Regional Routing & Compatibility Testing (Calgary/Edmonton)

Project Overview:

We are seeking a dependable, long-term technical node host based strictly in Alberta, Canada (preferably Calgary or Edmonton). This is a completely passive task that does NOT require your active time. You only need to ensure the device remains powered on and connected to your network.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a physical Windows PC/Laptop at your residential home in Alberta.

2. Ensure the computer remains turned on and actively connected to your home Wi-Fi network, as our testing platform requires scanning local residential Wi-Fi networks via the browser to verify routing.

3. Assist in setting up Chrome Remote Desktop to allow us to log in daily.

Data Privacy & System Setup:

To protect your data, you are expected to configure an isolated, password-protected "Standard/Guest Windows Account" on the PC for our use. We do not require administrator privileges or access to primary user profiles.

The endpoint domain for our regional routing test is PlayAlberta (AGLC licensed platform) for an ongoing data-matching and arbitrage model analysis.

Payment:

We offer a flat, ongoing Monthly Retainer of $50.00 USD per month (approximately $70 CAD), funded via monthly milestones, starting from the first month to cover both setup and daily access. No complicated hourly tracking needed.
