You'll represent employers and insurance carriers in a diverse portfolio of workers' compensation claims, handling matters from initial claim through hearing.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage a diverse caseload of Colorado workers' compensation defense matters from intake through resolution</li><li>Appear at hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences on behalf of employers and carriers</li><li>Analyze compensability, disability, medical benefits, and average weekly wage issues and advise clients on strategy</li><li>Draft pleadings, position statements, discovery, and motions in a fast-paced administrative law setting</li><li>Communicate directly with adjusters, employers, and risk managers while managing deadlines, calendar, and billing</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Looking for:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>CO Bar Admission</li><li>Recent litigation experience (Workers' Comp or civil litigation)</li><li>Also open to anyone from a district court background</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>You should know some of the following:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Workers' compensation defense</li><li>Insurance defense</li><li>Administrative law hearings</li><li>General insurance law</li><li>Subrogation and recovery</li><li>Compensability and claim defense</li><li>Temporary, permanent partial, and permanent total disability</li><li>Medical benefits and average weekly wage calculations</li><li>Colorado WCRP rules</li><li>Appellate practice</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Interested in hearing more?
