Team members are supported with clear procedures, training, and opportunities to develop skills in driving, equipment operation, and field service work.<br><strong>Role Description</strong> This part-time (to start) remote role is for a Junk Removal and Snow Removal Laborer/Driver and Roll-off Truck Driver at Waste Be Gone Ltd. The laborer/driver will be responsible for loading, hauling, and unloading junk and debris from client properties, ensuring safe handling and proper disposal or recycling. **During snow season, the role includes clearing snow, and maintaining safe walkways and driveways with shovels, snow blowers, air blowers and can possibly lead to a snow plowing truck doing parking lots as an advancement. This is all depending on weather conditions and starts as early as 7am. <br> **The roll-off truck driver will transport and place roll-off bins, perform basic equipment checks, and follow established routes and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include communicating professionally with customers, following safety protocols, completing job documentation, and coordinating with the dispatch team while working independently in the field.<br><strong>Qualifications<br></strong> <br><ul><li>Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items safely.</li><li>Must be able to provide proven ability to back up a half ton truck and 15 yard trailer into tight spaces. </li><li>Experience driving light- to medium-duty trucks; familiarity with roll-off trucks or willingness to learn</li><li>Air brakes is an asset.</li><li>Strong safety awareness and adherence to company procedures and traffic regulations.</li><li>Basic mechanical or equipment operation skills for trucks, snow removal equipment, and related tools.</li><li>Reliable time management skills, with the ability to follow schedules and work independently.</li><li>Professional communication and customer service skills when interacting with clients and team members.</li><li>Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including snow and cold temperatures.</li><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is an asset.</li><li>Previous experience in junk removal, snow removal, waste management, or a similar labor role is an advantage.</li><li>Commitment to a non-discriminatory, respectful workplace and working effectively with diverse colleagues and customers.</li><li>Able to do all aspects of the work scheduled including labor</li></ul>
