Junior Press Feeder<br><br><ul><li>Entry Level, We Train (Mississauga) Wage: $18 to $20/hour to start, reviewed at 6 months Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hrs/week, Monday to Friday, daily schedule to be determined. Location: Dundas St E and Dixie, Mississauga (on-site) We are an established commercial printing, direct mail and fulfillment shop looking for someone to train up on our offset presses. You will work alongside our pressman as a second set of hands and learn the trade from the feeder end up. No printing experience needed. No diploma needed. We train you. There is a real path here, and it is a trade that stays with you for your whole career. What you will do:</li><li>Load and align stock at the feeder and keep the press running clean</li><li>Watch sheets coming off the press for colour and alignment problems</li><li>Help with make-ready: hanging plates, washing blankets and rollers, colour changes</li><li>Daily press maintenance: lubrication, filters, belts, wash-up systems</li><li>Move skids with a pallet jack and help in the bindery and mailing during downtime</li><li>Keep the pressroom clean and safe What we are looking for:</li><li>Mechanical instinct. You are comfortable with hand tools and you are the type who takes things apart to understand them. Cars, bikes, small engines, whatever. Formal training is a bonus, not a requirement.</li><li>A sharp eye for small differences in colour and alignment</li><li>Reliable and punctual, able to take direction on a production floor</li><li>Comfortable standing a full shift and lifting up to 50 lbs</li><li>Legally entitled to work in Canada, with reliable transportation to Mississauga What we offer: full training on offset, digital and a complete bindery line. Direct mentorship from an experienced pressman. Steady Monday to Friday days. A small team where your work is visible.
