Junior Financial Analyst - Graduate Program

About the Role Our client, a leading financial institution, is actively recruiting ambitious and bright graduates for their esteemed Junior Financial Analyst program. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability studies. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes. Help develop financial models and scenario analyses. Assist in the reconciliation of financial data and ensure accuracy. Research financial markets and economic trends relevant to the company's performance. Support senior analysts on ad-hoc financial projects and presentations. Learn and apply various financial software and analytical tools. Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on financial strategies. Requirements Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related business discipline. Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Demonstrated interest and understanding of financial principles and markets. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) is essential. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards tasks. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment at our Toronto office. Previous internship experience in finance is an asset.
