<p><strong>Description</strong><p>Our client, a leading financial services organization, is modernizing its payments ecosystem through a large-scale transformation initiative. They are implementing a new enterprise payments platform and building the surrounding services needed to support customer onboarding, virtual accounts, reconciliation, customer management, and other business workflows.<p>This is an opportunity to join the team during the architecture and design phase and help build a scalable, cloud-native platform from the ground up.<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.</li><li>Build and maintain APIs and microservices.</li><li>Contribute to architecture and solution design discussions.</li><li>Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka.</li><li>Deploy and support applications in Azure and Kubernetes environments.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable systems.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Strong backend development experience with Java (Java 21+</li><li>Spring Boot</li><li>API design and development</li><li>Azure knowledge</li><li>Kubernetes</li><li>Event-driven architecture (Kafka)</li><li>Experience building large-scale distributed systems</li><li>PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have </strong></p><ul><li>React or general UI development experience</li><li>Payments domain experience (money movement, EFT, bill pay, transfers)</li><li>Real-time payments experience</li><li>Exposure to enterprise payments platforms</li></ul><p>Why Join?<p>Work on a high-impact modernization initiative using modern technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Azure, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
