Over the past 20 years, we have consistently grown year over year, and to sustain this momentum, McLean & Company is looking to add more sales professionals to our team.</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The <strong>Inside Account Executive - HR Division</strong> is a hybrid role combining account management and business development. The focus is on ensuring our clients are well-serviced and renew their memberships year after year, while also actively managing a specific territory of accounts.</p><p>This role involves leveraging personal and professional networks, marketing leads, referrals, and contacts as they transition to new organizations. The successful candidate will strategically align with HR Executives and McLean & Company’s comprehensive suite of resources, including software, analytics, advisory, and research services.</p><p><strong>Major Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Proactively manage accounts by conducting regular service calls with clients to ensure alignment and maximize usage of the McLean membership.</li><li>Utilize marketing leads and conduct warm calls within your territory to schedule onsite sales presentations with prospective clients.</li><li>Support cross-functional communication and collaborate with our Research and Product Teams.</li><li>Drive revenue growth by identifying referrals through personal, professional, and client networks, as well as pursuing sales opportunities with former clients who transition to new companies.</li><li>Identify client needs that align with our Workshop, Executive Services, Consulting, and Training offerings.</li><li>Solicit feedback and testimonials from current accounts.</li><li>Record client details and account notes in the CRM system and follow internal reporting processes.</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Post-secondary education – minimum College Diploma</li><li>2 years of B2B sales experience + University Degree</li><li><em>or</em></li><li>5 years of B2B sales experience + College Diploma</li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Account Management:</strong> Engage and manage the ongoing needs of clients, focusing on strategy, alignment, and operational excellence.</li><li><strong>Opportunity Identification:</strong> Actively identify opportunities within accounts and grow the account base through relationships connected with current clients. Pursue opportunities with former clients who move to different companies, leveraging your network.</li><li><strong>Organizational Skills:</strong> Keep track of clients who move companies, manage multiple calls effectively, and ensure efficient management of processes, documentation, and scheduling.</li><li><strong>Business Acumen:</strong> Have a solid understanding of business and industry language.</li><li><strong>Active Listening:</strong> Accurately understand and respond to client needs.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em>McLean & Company is a division of Info-Tech Research Group.
