Job Summary

As an Infrastructure Analyst on the Compute Platform Management team, you will be responsible for supporting and administering a portfolio of enterprise platforms that strengthen identity and access management, unified communication, productivity tools, security, and visibility across the organization. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with technologies such as Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Azure Entra ID, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 Platform, ensuring these platforms remain healthy, secure, and ready to support the business. You’ll also contribute to the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure domains, including planning, development, configuration, implementation, and ongoing enhancements.

This position is ideal for an administrator who enjoys owning production platforms, solving complex technical problems, and continuously improving how services are operated. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and service delivery teams, acting as a technical escalation point and helping translate operational needs into stable, well run services.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Administer, support and provide subject-matter expertise of Active Directory Domain Services, Entra ID, DNS, LDAP, DHCP, Time Services and PKI to ensure the services are healthy
  • Support on-premises, hybrid and cloud-based solution and configuration including but not limited to Domain Controllers, SAML, OAuth, Entra ID and M365 platform.
  • Administer, support and provide subject-matter expertise of Enterprise-level communication systems and services, including MS Exchange, MS Exchange Online, MS Teams and VoIP
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 Platform and services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Office 365 and other productivity and collaboration apps
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, utilizing ITIL-based practices, to troubleshoot and resolves system incidents, problems, and changes, related to authentication, identity, messaging, productivity and collaboration platforms, and mobile management systems
  • As subject-matter expert, work with system owners and technical teams across the organisation to resolve issues that require a cross-functional solution
  • Design, plan, implement and test system configuration, interface and interconnection
  • Develop, and maintain documentation of system requirements, design, architecture, roadmap, configurations, standards, and procedures for the operation and recovery of supported platforms.
  • Automate common or repetitive tasks and provide scripts to support the reporting, configuration, and maintenance of systems and processes
  • Keeps abreast of emerging computing trends, evolving technology platforms and best practices in areas of specialization.  

Job Requirements

Education:  

  • A college diploma or university degree from a recognized institution in the field of computer science or information systems, or an acceptable combination of education, experience and training.

Experience:  

  • 3 plus years hands-on experience administering and supporting Domain Services, Identity and Access management, Enterprise-level communication and collaboration platforms while following structured change control processes within large Enterprise-level environments.
  • Hands-on experience supporting MS Exchange and Exchange Online operation and  maintenance, including patching, certificate renewals, upgrades, OWA, SMTP services, and routing.
  • Experience supporting MS Active Directory, MS Entra ID, MS PowerShell, M365 platform and products (Teams, SharePoint Online, Office 365), in an on-premise, hybrid and/or cloud-only deployments.
  • Hands-on experience managing Active Directory Domain Services operation including infrastructure components, group policies, OU administration, site replication, and Cloud Authentication or other authentication methods for hybrid identity solutions.
  • Experience working within IT frameworks and process such as ITIL, Incident /Change / Problem Management, Quality Management, Project Management, Patch Management and Life-cycle processes and guidelines.

Knowledge:  

  • Knowledge of the design, implementation, maintenance, testing and integration of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and solutions, MS Entra Administration and Cloud Authentication, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and security protocols such as LDAP/LDAPS, SAML, and OAuth, both on-premises and cloud-base.
  • Knowledge of the design, support, life cycle of shared infrastructure services and client computing technology such as MS Active Directory Domain Services, MS Entra ID, MS Exchange and MS Exchange Online, MS SharePoint Online, MS Teams, M365 platform and services.
  • Knowledge of the design, support, life cycle and industry trends for shared infrastructure services and client computing technology.
  • Knowledge of supporting mobility management, messaging, access and identity management environments, configuration and concepts including AD integration, Directory services replication/synchronization, conditional access policies and Access Control (RBAC)
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and system configuration, management tools and scripting such as PowerShell
