Information Security Coordinator
<p><strong>Title: IT Security Program Coordinator / Security Assessment Coordinator</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Toronto, ON</strong></p><p><strong>Duration: 6 Months</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, managing incoming requests through Jira Service Desk, Outlook, and other service channels.</li><li>Review and validate security assessment requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness before engagement.</li><li>Coordinate with third-party vendors, application teams, and internal stakeholders to schedule security assessments and meet compliance requirements.</li><li>Manage assessment schedules, track milestones, identify risks, and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.</li><li>Provide guidance on security assessment processes, policies, standards, issue management, and security-related inquiries.</li><li>Maintain process documentation, team knowledge repositories, and engagement records.</li><li>Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership and audit purposes.</li><li>Support vendor coordination and administrative activities for the security assessment program.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience supporting IT operations, PMO, project coordination, or multi-project environments within large organizations.</li><li>Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to high volumes of requests in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Understanding of information security principles, IT development, SDLC, and secure development practices.</li><li>Knowledge of project management methodologies and operational processes.</li><li>Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently with changing priorities.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Jira</li><li>Microsoft Outlook</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Communications, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>Familiarity with IT governance, security policies, standards, and best practices.</li><li>Exposure to industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, CISSP, ISF, or related security standards.</li><li>Understanding of IT risk, compliance, privacy, and enterprise security concepts.</li><li>Experience with enterprise collaboration and ticketing platforms such as Jira and Confluence/Connect.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>“We use AI in our Hiring Process”</strong></p><p>Mindlance is an equal opportunity employer.
