HVAC Technician

ABOUT THE POSITION

Gas Line Installers is looking for an experienced and dependable HVAC Technician to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience and hold a valid G2 Gas Technician licence or higher.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong troubleshooting skills, and provides professional service to our customers throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience
  • Valid G2 Gas Technician licence or higher — required
  • Air Conditioning/Refrigeration licence or certification — an asset
  • Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Experience installing, servicing, and repairing HVAC equipment
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work overtime or emergency calls when required

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, service, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot furnaces, air conditioners, rooftop units, and other HVAC systems
  • Perform heating and cooling maintenance
  • Complete residential and/or commercial service calls
  • Perform installations and repairs in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards
  • Identify required parts and materials
  • Complete work orders and service documentation
  • Communicate professionally with customers and explain repairs and recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Starting wage: $23.00 per hour

Wages will increase based on experience, licensing, qualifications, and performance.
