About the Role

We are looking for an HR Coordinator, Operations & Workplace Programs to join our team for a 3-6 month contract term. The individual in this role provides administrative and coordination support across People & Culture and workplace operations. This role is focused on ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of HR processes, office operations, and front-of-house services.

The position plays a key role in maintaining organization, supporting employees and visitors, and ensuring that workplace and administrative processes run efficiently and consistently.

About Your Day

  • Support the day-to-day operation of our workplace, helping create a welcoming, organized, and productive office environment.
  • Serve as backup reception support, greeting visitors and responding to general inquiries.
  • Coordinate office initiatives, workspace changes, and return-to-office activities.
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to support workplace services and facilities needs.
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, office logistics, and team activities.
  • Prepare professional documents, presentations, communications, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and files across SharePoint and internal systems.
  • Process invoices and support budget tracking and administrative reporting.
  • Coordinate internal events, employee engagement activities, and team initiatives.
  • Support onboarding activities, including scheduling, communications, and new hire documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for HR programs, surveys, and day-to-day team operations.
  • Coordinate Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings, documentation, and related activities.
About You
  • Previous experience in an administrative, office coordination, or support role
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is an asset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience supporting office operations, meetings, or events
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Compensation The target hiring range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. This is a pay grade 5A role. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
