HR application consultant

Role Description
This part-time HR Application Consultant role is a hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The consultant will support the design, configuration, and implementation of HR software applications, working closely with client stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective system solutions. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing existing HR processes, documenting business needs, configuring and testing HR application features, and preparing user guides and training materials. The role involves providing consulting support on best practices, troubleshooting system issues, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure smooth deployments and updates. The consultant will also participate in project meetings, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and help ensure that HR applications align with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret HR and business data to inform application design and process improvements
  • Consulting experience, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and delivering client-focused solutions
  • Knowledge of Business Process design and optimization, particularly in HR workflows and employee lifecycle management
  • Exposure to Software Development or configuration of HR systems, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams
  • Solid Business Analysis skills, including documentation of requirements, use cases, and test scenarios
  • Familiarity with HR functions (e.g., recruitment, performance management, payroll, and employee data management)
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities, with strong interpersonal skills for working in hybrid and cross-functional environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications in HR or HR technology are an advantage
  • Experience working in or with organizations in the United Arab Emirates or the wider GCC region is beneficial
