House Sitter in Central

This is a small rural community - access to a vehicle is essential. We have no towns, just villages - bigger shopping is an hour in any direction. My house is on a well-maintained county road about 2 km from the village, 85 steps up from on a small lake private enough for skinny dipping. i have a paddleboard, no boat, neighbours visible but quiet and not too close. I have a downstairs apartment w a long-term tenant, senior municipal admin, alternates weekends w partner here and at their other home. Also a boarder who shares my kitchen (his own bathroom) 3-4 nights a week; he's also a senior municipal supervisor who goes to his home when not working his 4-day sked. Either could bridge cat care if house-sitter needed to be away for a few days. There is an additional guest room and a pull-out sofa bed if house-sitter wanted a guest. My large bedroom has an ensuite with a lovely soaker tub and uncurtained french doors overlooking the lake through the woods, queen bed, large windows facing east, no curtains, morning sun. The colours will be gorgeous in sept/oct. The community abounds with artists of all sorts, many ways to engage. I have good cell service w wifi backup. My house is full of books and is house comfortable rather than house beautiful.
