Role Description

As a Digital Studio Artist, you will be responsible for adapting existing creative across digital marketing channels that are consistent with our brand guidelines for our grocery businesses and PC Express. We are looking for someone with strong technical skills and creative aptitude, who can handle multiple projects at once.

  • Be accountable for brand consistency across campaigns and assets
  • Be meticulous with details – in file organization, naming structures, and nuances across digital assets
  • Balance and manage own workload according to the established business priorities
  • Ensure deliverables are high quality and on time
  • Maintain style and asset guidelines for internal teams and external vendors
  • Work closely with designers, copywriters, and stakeholders in supporting execution for various creative output (including site and app experiences, email, paid media, and more)

Qualifications

  • A strong portfolio with digital marketing collateral – only those with a portfolio will be considered
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Familiarity with prompt-based AI copy and design tools is an asset
  • Basic experience with motion design
  • Knowledge of digital design process and best practices, including image optimization, responsive design, accessibility compliance, basic HTML and CSS, and content management systems
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • High level of initiative and curiosity around process efficiencies and design operations
  • Participate in design review sessions and contribute through creative input
  • Open-minded and able to give and take constructive feedback
  • Proficiency in French or experience in bilingual design is an asset

Requirements

  • Remote based
  • Hourly rate: $32.00 - $34.00 depending on level of experience
  • Fixed Term: 4-5 month contract
  • Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal background check
