Graphic Design Intern

Silk & Snow is a Toronto-based, digitally native business that offers thoughtfully designed bedding products with a frictionless customer experience. We are a small and highly collaborative team, looking to add a Graphic Design Intern to our team. You are team-oriented, versatile, collaborative, and eager to take on the different challenges that come with working for an energetic start-up.

The Role:

Are you interested in beautiful home goods and ecommerce? Then we would love to chat! We are looking for a graphic design Intern who has an interest in elevated design, content creation, and production to join our highly talented team of creative individuals. If you are a visual storyteller and very-well organized please get in touch. Please include a link to your portfolio within your application. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with the graphic design team to help create and execute engaging content.
  • Play a role in the production of physical and digital assets.
  • Work with the social media team to help design eye-catching content such as posts, videos, stories, and paid ads. Social media content needs to be on-brand and engaging.
  • Work on-set during photoshoots
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team on creative ideas/decisions

About You:

  • Currently studying communication or design
  • A strong eye for design, typography, interior design
  • Passionate and excited about design
  • Detail oriented and organized

Job Type: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months
