Job Description

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Doha as our new Front Office Agent.

The Front Office Agent  welcomes guests with warmth and professionalism, manages check-in and check-out procedures, handles reservations and room assignments, responds to guest inquiries and requests, and resolves concerns promptly to ensure exceptional satisfaction. The role involves maintaining accurate guest records, processing payments, coordinating with housekeeping and other hotel departments, and upholding Fairmont's luxury hospitality standards. The Front Office Agent is also expected to promote hotel services, maintain confidentiality, follow brand policies and safety procedures, and contribute to a positive and memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and provide efficient check-in and check-out services
  • Handle reservations, room assignments, and guest registration
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally
  • Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Promote hotel facilities, services, and loyalty programs
  • Maintain accurate guest information and daily reports
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards

Qualifications

What will you bring to this role?

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Previous experience in front office, guest services, or customer service is preferred
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS or other hotel property management systems is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment
