Field Operations Officer

Service Hub is looking for a Field Operations Officer to handle everything outside the store — picking up gadgets from suppliers across Computer Village, verifying items against orders, and coordinating riders to get orders delivered. Pickups vary day to day, so this role also includes WhatsApp support and other office-based tasks. This suits someone who knows (or can quickly learn) how to navigate Computer Village, deal directly with suppliers, and take full ownership of the products in their care.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier & Procurement Support

  • Pick up gadgets and items from suppliers in Computer Village and other designated locations
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm availability and collection details
  • Verify items collected against purchase/order details
  • Handle gadgets safely during transport
  • Support the procurement process when required

Office & WhatsApp Support

  • Respond to and coordinate customer orders and enquiries via WhatsApp
  • Support general office tasks as needed when not on a supplier run

Delivery & Rider Coordination

  • Coordinate with riders and hand over the correct orders for delivery
  • Confirm orders are successfully dispatched and delivered
  • Follow up on outstanding or delayed deliveries

Records & Reporting

  • Maintain records of supplier pickups and handovers
  • Report operational issues, stock discrepancies, or supplier concerns promptly
  • Track tasks and ensure completion within required timeframes
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • 2+ years in logistics, procurement support, gadget/electronics sourcing, or a similar hands-on role
  • Experience operating within Computer Village/Ikeja or a similar busy commercial environment is a strong advantage
  • Ability to accurately handle and account for physical, high-value products
  • Good communication skills for dealing with suppliers and riders
  • Basic proficiency with smartphones, WhatsApp, and Excel/Google Sheets
  • Must be physically comfortable with frequent movement around Computer Village and other locations
  • Must be trustworthy, responsible, and reliable

Important Role Requirements

This role involves regular movement around Computer Village and direct custody of high-value gadgets in transit. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of integrity and accountability. A guarantor/reference check is required before resumption, and candidates should be prepared to provide guarantor documentation.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
