Job Details

  • Location: Abbotsford, BC
  • Work Location: On site
  • Salary: $18.25 hourly
  • Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
  • Special Commitments: Early morning, Day, Weekend shifts

Responsibilities

  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
  • Weeding
  • Fertilize and spray crops
  • Harvest crops
  • Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
  • Perform general farm duties
  • Set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops

Experience and Qualifications

  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Experience is an asset
  • Languages: English

Work Environment

Work site involves fruit and vegetable combination farming. Work must be completed at the physical location; there is no option to work remotely.
