<p><strong>Company Description</strong> </p><p><strong>Tropical Battery Company Limited</strong> is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious <strong>Facilities Maintenance Assistant</strong> to support the maintenance and upkeep of the Company's facilities, grounds, fleet, and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the Company's premises remain clean, safe, functional, and professionally maintained.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Description</strong> </p><ul><li>Maintain lawns, gardens, grounds, and external areas.</li><li>Clean and pressure wash parking areas, walkways, buildings etc.</li><li>Perform basic handyman tasks, including minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, and changing light bulbs.</li><li>Wash Company vehicles and maintain tools and equipment.</li><li>Keep drains and gutters clear and report maintenance or safety issues.</li><li>Assist with general facility upkeep, hurricane preparation, and other assigned duties.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Secondary school education or equivalent. </li><li>Previous experience in facilities maintenance, grounds maintenance, landscaping, construction, janitorial services, or a similar role would be an asset. </li><li>Basic handyman skills, including simple plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance. </li><li>Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment. </li><li>Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions. </li><li>Reliable, dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work with minimal supervision. </li></ul><p><br></p><p>Interested applicants should submit their résumés to hrdept.tbc@gmail.com no later than <strong>August 21, 2026</strong>.</p>
