About the Role - Beyond Traditional Security

Are you a security professional who takes pride in flawless execution and elite service? We are seeking Executive Security Operatives to join our premier residential protection team.

Unlike standard security roles, our Operatives act as the face of safety for high-net-worth families and prestigious neighborhoods. You are not just a guard; you are a highly trained first responder. Our mission is to provide an unmatched elite security experience, supporting the fastest alarm response time across Canada of under 6 minutes. This allows Avante Security to maintain the highest standards of professional discretion and safety.

As a Security Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clientele. You will be responsible for responding promptly to alarms, conducting thorough residential patrols, and performing static guarding services at various client locations. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle diverse security challenges, ensuring our clients' peace of mind.

Rapid Alarm Response: Execute immediate, tactical responses to residential alarm triggers; arriving on-site within minutes to assess threats and assist clientele.

Community Safety Initiatives: Operatives are tasked with "Dedicated Street Response" and "Neighborhood Patrols" reinforcing proactive community security initiative and deterrence.

Elite Patrol Operations: Conduct proactive, patrols of exclusive residential zones; performing detailed safety checks of our client’s residences (securing gates, doors, checking vehicles, and identifying suspicious activity or precursors to violence or illegal/ illicit behaviour).

Client Services: Provide high-level assistance including "Vacation Watch" (interior/exterior inspections of client residences), key-holder services, and secure transport for clients and their families.

Incident Management: Collaborate with Avante Control Centre (ACC) and local law enforcement. Manage emergencies with calm, decisive action.

Professional Representation: Maintain a pristine, corporate appearance at all times, reflecting the prestige of our clientele and Avante Security.

What you Bring

Licensing: Valid Ontario Private Security & Investigative Services License. (REQUIRED)

Certifications: Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C. (REQUIRED)

Driving Record: Clean Ontario Driver’s Abstract (G License) with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience. Access to a personal vehicle is an asset.

Experience: Minimum of 0.5-2 years of proven security mobile and alarm response experience. Previous experience in high-end executive protection, military or police is a significant asset.

Education: Post-secondary education in police foundations, criminology, or related field would be considered an asset.

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform frequent foot patrols and remain active throughout a 12-hour shift (day/ night).

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to communicate effectively with high-profile clients and write detailed, professional reports. Ability to interact with clients in a courteous and professional manner.

Schedule: Flexibility to work a 12-hour continental rotation including weekends, holidays and the ability to work outside in all weather conditions associated with a Canada climate. Exceptional vigilance and focus during nighttime hours.

Physical Security Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of alarm systems and emergency response protocols.

Conflict Resolution: Strong customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to deescalate incidents with a focus on conflict resolution by maintaining a calm, compassionate demeanor under pressure.
