ESL Instructor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ESL Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English as a Second Language to diverse student populations, helping them improve their language skills and achieve their academic and personal goals. This role offers an engaging environment where educators can make a meaningful impact on students' lives through effective instruction and cultural exchange.

Bilingual abilities and classroom experience are highly valued, especially in supporting students with varied learning needs, including those requiring special education accommodations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging ESL lessons tailored to students’ proficiency levels and learning objectives
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support language development
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence
  • Incorporate diverse teaching methods and educational resources to enhance learning experiences
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the delivery of comprehensive language education
  • Adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with special education requirements when applicable
  • Foster effective communication with students, parents, and staff to promote student success
Skills
  • Strong teaching skills with experience in classroom management and curriculum development
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey lessons and feedback
  • Prior classroom experience in ESL or related educational settings is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of special education strategies to support students with unique learning needs
  • Ability to create an engaging, supportive learning environment that motivates students to succeed
  • Flexibility and adaptability in teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and cultural backgrounds
Pay: From $21.50 per hour
