Entry-Level IT Support Specialist

XA Talent places candidates in entry-level IT support jobs with employers across the United States. No degree required. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates for Entry-Level Tier 1 IT Support positions nationwide. This role is ideal for individuals embarking on their IT career. No prior experience is needed. Candidates will be evaluated based on their strong desire to enter the IT industry and their professionalism. Responsibilities include the following. Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues. Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support. Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources. Update customer data and produce activity reports. Walk customers through problem-solving processes. Follow up with customers and see problems through to resolution. Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customer expectations. Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure of tickets. Recommend procedure modifications or improvements. Preserve and grow knowledge of help desk procedures, products, and services. Qualifications for this role include the following. A high school diploma or GED is required. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential. Candidates must have excellent problem-solving ability and be able to provide step-by-step technical help both written and verbal. Basic familiarity with computers, hardware, and software is expected. We are looking for candidates with an eagerness to learn new technologies and IT procedures, the ability to work in a team and adapt to dynamic situations, and patience and professionalism when working with end users. Higher education or certifications in IT or computer science are a plus. CompTIA A+ certification is required.
