Customer Service Representative – E-Commerce

Position Details :
Position: Customer Service Representative – E-Commerce
Contract: 12-month contract (High potential for extension or permanent hire)
Pay Rate: $21.00 / hour
Work Model: Flexible Hybrid (1–2 days/week on-site near Sauvé Metro)
Schedule:
- Weekdays: Monday to Friday (9:00/9:15 AM to 5:00/5:15 PM)
- Weekends: Saturday & Sunday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Responsibilities
Handle incoming calls and respond to email inquiries regarding online orders, tracking, shipping, returns, and refunds.

Deliver personalized, solution-driven service, always placing customer satisfaction at the heart of your decisions.

Utilize the Shopify e-commerce platform and internal knowledge bases to provide fast, accurate answers.

Participate in a weekend shift rotation (1 weekend out of every 3), offset by compensatory weekdays off.

Qualifications

Proven customer service or call center experience, ideally within the retail or e-commerce sector.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with strong empathy and active listening abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

High degree of reliability, punctuality, and professional accountability.

Strong autonomy and effective time-management skills.

Required Remote Work Equipment: Windows 11 PC, high-speed internet connection, and a quiet, private workspace.

French is the official language of the company. However, fluent bilingualism (English/French) is required for this role due to the following business factors:

Over 60% of the customers served by the call center reside outside Quebec (primarily in New Brunswick and other Canadian provinces).

Internal technology platforms, e-commerce software (Shopify), technical documentation, and training tools are configured in English.
