individual who is passionate about empowering young people to achieve their full educational, career, and life potential.</p><p>As our <strong>Curriculum Coordinator</strong>, you'll help shape the learning experiences that inspire youth across Manitoba by coordinating the maintenance, implementation, testing, review, and continuous improvement of our career exploration lessons and skill development workshops.</p><p>Working closely with our <strong>Program Leadership Team</strong>, you'll ensure our curriculum remains engaging, inclusive, accessible, and ready for delivery across Career Trek's Manitoba program sites.</p><p><br></p><strong>What You'll Do</strong><p>You'll play a key role in strengthening Career Trek's programming by:</p><ul><li><strong>Coordinating</strong> the review, testing, revision, approval, and implementation of curriculum.</li><li><strong>Maintaining and updating</strong> career exploration lessons, facilitator guides, workshop materials, activity resources, and supply lists.</li><li><strong>Gathering and implementing</strong> curriculum feedback from staff, participants, and stakeholders.</li><li>Ensuring lessons are <strong>current, inclusive, accessible, age-appropriate, and practical</strong>.</li><li>Applying <strong>Universal Design for Learning (UDL)</strong>, experiential learning, culturally responsive teaching, and career development principles.</li><li>Researching <strong>Manitoba labour market trends, educational pathways, and emerging careers</strong>.</li><li>Collaborating with <strong>curriculum developers, post-secondary institutions, businesses, community partners, and subject matter experts</strong>.</li><li>Coordinating the testing and piloting of new and revised lessons.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong><p>The ideal candidate is:</p><ul><li>Highly <strong>organized</strong>, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>An excellent <strong>researcher, writer, editor, and communicator</strong>.</li><li>A collaborative team player who can also work independently.</li><li>Comfortable presenting information in engaging and age-appropriate ways.</li><li>Proficient with <strong>Microsoft Office, Canva, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Zoom</strong>, and other content development tools.</li><li>Knowledgeable about <strong>Manitoba's K–12 education system</strong> and curriculum best practices.</li></ul><li><br></li><strong>Assets (Nice to Have)</strong><p>We're especially interested in candidates with experience or education in:</p><ul><li>Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, Career Development, Youth Work, Community Development, or a related field <em>(equivalent experience will also be considered).</em></li><li>Curriculum development or implementation.</li><li>Working with children and youth (Grades 5–12).</li><li>Universal Design for Learning, experiential learning, or culturally responsive teaching.</li><li>Facilitating workshops or staff training.</li><li>Supervising staff.</li><li>Manitoba labour market trends and educational pathways.</li><li>Supporting marginalized or underserved youth.</li><li>Indigenous worldviews, teachings, and Truth & Reconciliation.</li><li>A valid Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.</li></ul><li><br></li><strong>Additional Information</strong><p>Please note:</p><ul><li>A <strong>stable internet connection</strong> is required for hybrid work.</li><li>Travel throughout <strong>Manitoba</strong>, including rural and northern communities, will be required.</li><li>A <strong>Criminal Record Check</strong> and <strong>Child Abuse Check</strong> are required.</li><li>A valid <strong>First Aid & CPR Certificate</strong> is required (or willingness to obtain one — Career Trek will reimburse the cost).</li><li>Occasional <strong>evening and weekend work</strong> may be
