Our Montreal-based banking client is seeking a French-speaking Control Testing Analyst to support control testing, internal audit and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting initiatives. This is a remote contract operating under the client’s supervision.<br><br><strong>Contract Details<br><br></strong><ul><li>Start date: October 12, 2026</li><li>End date: January 31, 2027</li><li>Location: Montreal, Quebec</li><li>Work model: Remote</li><li>Language: French mandatory; English considered an asset</li><li>Resources required: 1<br><br></li></ul><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Perform control testing across internal control frameworks.</li><li>Support internal audit and ICFR initiatives.</li><li>Test and assess IT Application Controls and IT General Controls.</li><li>Support compliance activities related to 52-109 and SOX requirements.</li><li>Document testing activities, findings and supporting evidence.</li><li>Assist with control testing during peak reporting periods.</li><li>Work effectively within a client-led environment under client supervision.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience conducting control testing within internal control frameworks.</li><li>Experience supporting internal audit and ICFR initiatives.</li><li>Knowledge of ITAC and ITGC controls.</li><li>Familiarity with 52-109 and SOX compliance requirements.</li><li>Financial services industry experience.</li><li>Understanding of risk management principles and control environments.</li><li>Ability to support peak-period testing requirements.</li><li>Strong French-language communication skills.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Nice to Have<br><br></strong><ul><li>English-language communication skills.<br><br></li></ul>,<br><br>
