Content Editor & QA Specialist for IT Marketing Content

Content Editor & QA Specialist for IT Marketing Content

We are looking for a detail-oriented freelance Content Editor & Quality Assurance Specialist to serve as the final review step for marketing content created for an IT and managed services company.

Our team produces blogs, long-form articles, website copy, email marketing, social media content, sales materials, and other digital marketing assets. We need someone with a strong eye for detail who can review content before publication and catch the things we may miss.

What You'll Review

You may review:

SEO blogs and long-form articles

Website copy and updates

Email marketing campaigns

Social media posts

Sales and marketing collateral

Graphics for spelling and copy accuracy

What We Need You to Check

Your role is primarily editing and quality control, not creating content from scratch.

For each piece, you'll review for:

Spelling and grammar

Punctuation

Sentence clarity and readability

Formatting consistency

Repetitive or awkward wording

Incorrect or inconsistent terminology

Brand and service-name consistency

Missing information or obvious errors

Links, dates, names, headings, and CTAs

SEO keyword placement without keyword stuffing

Local DFW and target-audience relevance when applicable

Overall flow and professionalism

Final "Does this look ready to publish?" review

Our primary audiences include small and midsize businesses, business owners, healthcare organizations, and healthcare practice administrators, so content should be professional while remaining conversational and easy to understand.

What We're Looking For

The ideal freelancer is extremely detail-oriented and is the type of person who notices a typo, inconsistent capitalization, broken link, or formatting issue immediately.

Experience reviewing B2B, technology, IT, MSP, cybersecurity, healthcare IT, or SEO content is a plus.

You should also be comfortable reviewing AI-assisted content. We use AI as part of our content development process, but the final product should sound natural, accurate, intentional, and human.

We do not need someone to completely rewrite our brand voice. We need someone who can protect it while making sure the final work is polished and accurate.

Working Relationship

This will begin as a freelance project with the potential for ongoing work. Content will be provided as needed, and turnaround expectations will be communicated with each assignment.

We value clear communication, attention to detail, and someone who is comfortable flagging something when it does not make sense rather than simply correcting grammar and moving on.
