Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Community Manager to work on a full-time basis. This person will be responsible for creating a positive, collaborative, and engaged online environment, focusing on customer support and community moderation across various domains, including finance, healthcare, and engineering.

The Community

Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere, addressing customer complaints, and developing proactive engagement strategies to foster a vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and moderate online communities to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere, proactively resolving issues and answering questions.
  • Address customer complaints and questions promptly with empathy and professionalism, de-escalating conflicts and diffusing tense situations to maintain group harmony.
  • Develop proactive engagement strategies to foster a vibrant and active community, collaborating with internal teams to relay feedback and insights from the community.
  • Manage time efficiently to handle multiple conversations and tasks in a remote environment, creating clear, friendly, and effective written and verbal communications across channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a welcoming experience for all members, adapting to the needs of the community and providing support as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in customer support and online community moderation, with a strong ability to resolve issues and address customer complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a genuine care for clear and empathetic messaging, and the ability to create effective written and verbal communications across channels.
  • Strong conflict management and de-escalation abilities, with a self-starter attitude and high energy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced remote setting.
  • Excellent time management skills in a remote work setting, with the ability to multitask under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask, with a willingness to go the extra mile to support community needs and ensure a positive experience for all members.
