About AI Language Evaluation

In this role, your Chinese localization and English-language judgment will directly support the evaluation and improvement of AI-generated text.

The Role
As a Senior Chinese Localization AI Content Evaluator, you will review AI-generated responses and create language content while evaluating the quality of reasoning and step-by-step solutions. You will compare, rate, and improve AI outputs to enhance model quality.
This is an hourly contractor position that requires expert-level Simplified Chinese localization and translation judgment, along with high English proficiency for accurate review and feedback.
- Review AI-generated responses in Simplified Chinese and English
- Evaluate accuracy, clarity, reasoning quality, and prompt adherence
- Apply localization and translation judgment to assess cultural and linguistic accuracy
What You'll Do
You will assess model outputs against established guidelines and provide detailed, actionable feedback. The work combines language expertise, editorial judgment, fact-checking, and structured quality evaluation.

Requirements
This role is intended for an experienced localization or translation professional who can make precise editorial decisions in both Simplified Chinese and English. Candidates should be comfortable reviewing AI-generated text and applying established quality standards consistently.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, Localization, Communications, or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional localization or translation experience
- Native or near-native proficiency in Simplified Chinese
- Minimum C1 English proficiency in reading and writing
- Proven knowledge of MQM and LQA concepts
- Proficiency with CAT tools and quality assurance workflows
- Strong editorial judgment and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to fact-check information using reliable sources
Schedule and Compensation
The role requires a commitment of at least 20 hours per week. As a part-time contractor, you can contribute remotely while supporting ongoing AI language evaluation work.
