Our client is seeking an organized and dedicated Childcare Coordinator to manage operations for their facility in Gatineau . This role is integral to ensuring the smooth daily functioning of our childcare services, balancing administrative tasks with on-site supervision and engagement. You will oversee program delivery, staff support, and parent communication, contributing to a positive and safe environment for children. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining essential on-site responsibilities with the flexibility of some remote administrative duties, allowing you to contribute effectively while maintaining a balanced schedule. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance and performance feedback. Coordinate daily schedules, activities, and classroom transitions to ensure seamless operations. Manage parent inquiries, registrations, and communication, fostering strong relationships. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations for childcare facilities. Maintain inventory of supplies and manage ordering processes to meet program needs. Contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement initiatives. Requirements Proven experience in a childcare or supervisory role. Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with staff, parents, and children. Familiarity with childcare licensing and safety standards. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility for hybrid work.
