Position Summary...

As a People Greeter at Walmart Canada, you play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive shopping experience for every customer. By delivering exceptional customer service and supporting sales floor operations, you help build customer trust and loyalty. Customer Experience Associates connect with every customer, offering a friendly smile and helpful support that brings Walmart’s values to life for everyone who walks through our doors.

What you'll do...

WHAT YOU'LL DO


Deliver a Welcoming Customer Experience
Provides friendly, fast, and professional service to every customer entering and exiting the store, creating a positive first and last impression.

Support Loss Prevention and Store Safety
Helps keep the store safe by placing return tags on items coming back into the store, watching for large purchases such as electronics, and checking receipts when needed. Reports any unusual or suspicious activity to Management or Loss Prevention and responds to Code ADAM alerts by following established guidelines.

Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete Documentation
Responds politely to EAS alarms, helps identify why an item did not deactivate properly, and completes required logs accurately. Reports any system issues to management so they can be addressed.

Assist Customers and Support Store Operations
Ensures customers have the tools they need for shopping, including carts, baskets, and flyers. Provides directions, answers questions, and works with sales associates to help customers find products and services.

Maintain a Safe and Clean Store Environment
Contributes to a safe, clean, and hazard free work environment by following Company policies and procedures at all times.

Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

• Manages overnight hours effectively and planning accordingly to stay energized and focused.
• Effectively manages work hours and plans ahead to maintain energy and focus throughout the shift.
• Handles a fast-paced workload with efficiency, ensuring large volumes of restocking and recovery are completed accurately and on time.

Physical Demands
• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
