About the position
KPMG in Canada is seeking a Campus Recruitment Specialist for their BC team. This role supports the development, planning, and execution of early talent and undergraduate campus recruitment strategies, events, and activities. The specialist will ensure a best-in-class recruitment experience for candidates, aiming to create a positive and unforgettable journey. The role requires adaptability, resourcefulness, organization, creativity, and a passion for inspiring students. The specialist will collaborate with a team of recruitment professionals and report to the Campus Senior Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage job requisitions and candidate workflow in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Responsible for project management, planning, and execution of all campus recruitment events for BC.
- Responsible for communications and logistics coordination for information sessions, recruitment events, interviews, and other strategic recruitment initiatives.
- Display a positive image of KPMG to prospective students at events and build/maintain relationships with prospective candidates and new hires.
- Collaborate with Campus Recruitment Leads and the Digital team to amplify recruitment programs on social media.
- Lead junior team members in supporting recruitment programs, events, and administrative activities.
- Contribute new ideas and challenge the status quo to improve the candidate experience.
- Work beyond normal workday or work week as business needs arise.
- Attend in-person events and travel for recruitment purposes within the region.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Campus or Student recruitment, HR, or similar roles.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in a Business discipline or related field.
- Experience in event planning and execution for both in-person and virtual settings.
- Outstanding organization, project management skills, and attention to detail demonstrated through experience in event planning and/or multi-stakeholder projects.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and activities; strong time management skills and ability to work within deadlines and under pressure.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work cooperatively with people with diverse skills, styles, and approaches.
- Exceptional communicator, people-centered, and passionate about creating a diverse, inclusive, and belonging culture.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including outside of regular business hours.
- Self-starter and desire to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
