We are looking for a Business Plan Specialist to support the preparation and improvement of business plans, especially for PNP entrepreneur, investor, and business immigration applications .

This is a part-time contract position with the possibility of extension based on successful cooperation and quality of work.

Position Details

Role: Business Plan Specialist – Immigration / PNP Applications

Type: Part-time contract

Hours: 10–20 hours per week

Compensation: CAD $35–$50 per hour, depending on experience and writing quality

Location: Remote or hybrid

Language: English

Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

  • Write, update, and improve professional business plans for immigration-related purposes
  • Conduct market, industry, competitor, and location-specific research
  • Find, verify, and reference credible industry-specific data
  • Use AI tools responsibly, while verifying information through reliable traditional sources
  • Prepare business descriptions, industry analysis, marketing plans, operational plans, and implementation timelines
  • Work with startup budgets, revenue assumptions, financial projections, and basic feasibility analysis
  • Review client information and translate business ideas into clear, structured business plans
  • Collaborate with the immigration consultant/team to align business plans with program requirements
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, originality, and professional formatting
  • Support improvement of templates, research processes, and internal documentation
  • Handle client and business information with confidentiality and attention to detail
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience writing business plans is required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial assumptions, market data, and business feasibility
  • Ability to verify data from credible sources and avoid unsupported claims
  • Strong English writing, research, and analytical skills
  • MBA, business, economics, finance, management, public policy, or related educational background preferred
  • Comfortable using AI tools, spreadsheets, online databases, government statistics, and industry reports
  • Experience with immigration, consulting, startup advisory, or PNP entrepreneur applications is a an asset
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
  • Additional language skills are an asset
