Business Operations Coordinator

Our client is seeking a highly organised and adaptable Operations Coordinator to support the growth of their UK business. This is a varied role covering sales and purchasing administration, technical service coordination, warehouse and logistics support, customer service and general back-office administration.

The role will suit someone who enjoys working across different areas of a business and is comfortable managing a varied workload. You'll work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams, helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Job Title: Operations Coordinator

Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience

Location: Bracknell, Berkshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the administration of sales and purchasing activities
  • Process sales orders for equipment, parts and services, including quotations, order confirmations, invoices and shipping documentation
  • Handle customer claims and returns and provide first line customer support
  • Support the technical service team with service bookings, customer communication, invoicing and contract renewals
  • Assist with materials procurement and maintain contact with international suppliers
  • Monitor supplier deliveries, check invoices and manage supplier claims and returns
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments and support warehouse and logistics administration
  • Pack consumables and spare parts orders and maintain stock records
  • Provide customer and visitor support
  • Assist with exhibitions, demonstration days and general administration

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in office management or a similar administrative role
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage varied tasks
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident dealing with customers and suppliers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities
  • Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role, including lifting, packing and stacking boxes
  • ERP and Microsoft Excel knowledge would be advantageous
