<strong>Avanciers</strong> is a premier IT Staffing/Consulting organization and we are currently recruiting for a contract role for one of our premier client in Canada for<strong> Bilingual Accounts Payable Consultant (Lease & Tax).<br><br></strong>This is a Onsite role and client is actively hiring for this position.<br><br><strong>Title:</strong> <strong>Bilingual Accounts Payable Consultant (Lease & Tax)<br><br></strong><strong>Location: Montreal, QC<br><br></strong><strong>Duration: 6+ months<br><br></strong><strong>Position Overview<br><br></strong>We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Accounts Payable Consultant to oversee lease-related financial processes, property tax invoicing, and landlord relations. In this role, you will manage payment obligations, reconcile accounts, ensure audit compliance, and support financial forecasting for our leased property portfolio.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Invoice & Tax Reconciliation: Process and reconcile municipal and landlord lease-related tax invoices; perform semi-annual reviews to confirm full collection and processing of all property tax documents.</li><li>Lease Review & Compliance: Analyze lease contracts to confirm payment schedules, critical dates, escalation clauses, and financial terms while ensuring alignment with internal accounting policies and controls.</li><li>Tracker & System Maintenance: Maintain the Master Tax Tracker to account for lease amendments, adjustments, and upcoming payment deadlines.</li><li>Issue Resolution & Stakeholder Management: Investigate invoice discrepancies and payment issues, acting as the primary liaison for municipal authorities, external landlords, and internal teams.</li><li>Audit & Financial Support: Assist with lease audits, budget forecasting, and expense analysis across leased properties.<br><br></li></ul><strong><em>Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure<br><br></em></strong><ul><li>We use AI-enabled tools to assist in screening applications based on job-related criteria.<br><br></li></ul><strong><em>Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion<br><br></em></strong><em>Avanciers Incorporated is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace.
