Beginner Lash & Brow Technician

Lash & Brow Artist – Entry Level

We are looking for a friendly, motivated beginner Lash and/or Brow Artist to join our growing beauty studio! This position is perfect for someone who has previous experience or training in lashes/brows, or someone who is newer to the industry and eager to grow their skills and build experience in a professional beauty environment.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, personable, professional and eager to learn. You must be comfortable working with clients, providing excellent customer service and handling difficult or unexpected client situations in a calm and professional manner.

There will also be opportunities to learn additional beauty services and expand your skills over time.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lash and/or brow services safely and professionally
  • Consult with clients to understand their desired results
  • Provide a welcoming and comfortable client experience
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized and organized workspace
  • Follow all sanitation and infection-prevention procedures
  • Provide appropriate service aftercare instructions
  • Maintain professional communication with clients
  • Handle client questions, concerns and difficult situations professionally
  • Stay on schedule and manage appointment times effectively
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio
  • Be willing to learn and develop new beauty services and techniques

Requirements

  • Beginner or previous experience in lash extensions, lash lifts, brow laminations, brow tinting/shaping, or a related beauty service
  • Beauty certifications/training are an asset
  • Must be available during the week and every other weekend
  • Friendly, outgoing and comfortable working closely with clients
  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and improve
  • Able to take feedback and direction
  • Comfortable handling challenging client situations
  • Passion for the beauty industry
  • Portfolio/photos of previous work are an asset

Pay: $20.00-$50.00 per hour
