Associate Director, Oncology Marketing - Solid Tumors

Responsibilities

Eli Lilly Canada is searching for a seasoned Associate Director, Oncology Marketing to drive innovation at speed, help people living with cancer benefit from our medicines, and deliver sustainable growth for the organization. The Oncology Business Unit is at an exciting inflection point, with multiple concurrent launches across solid tumor types - including breast, ovarian, lung, and gastrointestinal (GI) cancers - and a rich pipeline for the future.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully launching multiple oncology brands across different tumor sites, with the strategic range to manage several launch priorities in parallel. This person will champion cross-functional integration and a culture of accountability, bringing an innovative approach to the team and seizing opportunities to take the OBU to the next level.

The role leads the marketing team and commercial activities across the solid tumor portfolio, delivering integrated customer plans, operational plans, and launch planning for new assets. Leveraging technology and innovative thinking, you and your team will generate new ways of expanding reach and creating exceptional customer experiences that drive brand uptake for appropriate patients and commercial success.

You will lead, work with, and communicate cross-functionally across the organization, and with key external healthcare providers and stakeholders, to align the strategic and tactical direction of each brand with overall corporate and oncology portfolio strategy. You will be accountable for the tactical execution of customer plans and for establishing a strong cross-functional collaboration model within the business unit, consistent with our organization's principles and values. You bring a passion for the discipline of marketing, its consistent pull-through in the field organization, and an active role in shaping the capability changes underway across the team.

This is a hybrid role - onsite presence at our Toronto office will be 10 or more days per month (at least 50% of the time), determined in collaboration with your manager based on business needs.

This role is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as participation in the Lilly Bonus Program and a car allowance.
