<p><strong>Assembly Operator I</strong></p> <p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $18.00 per hour<br /> <strong>Shift: 1s: </strong>6am-2 p.m. Monday-Friday<br /> <strong>Location</strong>: Landisville, PA</p> <p><strong>Position Overview</strong><br /> Kelly Services are seeking an Temporary entry-level <strong>Assembly Operator I</strong> to prepare equipment, assemble products, perform quality inspections, and document production results. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> </p> <li>Prepare machines, tools, and equipment for daily production.<br /> </p> <li>Set up and assemble products according to work instructions.<br /> </p> <li>Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections.<br /> </p> <li>Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.<br /> </p> <li>Read and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and written procedures.<br /> </p> <li>Complete quality inspection and production documentation accurately.<br /> </p> <li>Identify product defects and complete the required documentation and notifications.<br /> </p> <li>Communicate operational issues to setup personnel, technicians, and supervisors.<br /> </p> <li>Make authorized adjustments to maintain product quality.<br /> </p> <li>Use inspection data to verify that products meet established standards.<br /> </p> <li>Rotate between repetitive hand-work tasks as assigned.<br /> </p> <li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. </ul> <p> <strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> </p> <li>High school diploma or equivalent experience.<br /> </p> <li>Previous manufacturing experience preferred.<br /> </p> <li>Experience working with mechanical systems is helpful.<br /> </p> <li>Ability to use or learn inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.<br /> </p> <li>Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions.<br /> </p> <li>Basic computer navigation and data-entry skills.<br /> </p> <li>Ability to read and write English.<br /> </p> <li>High energy, self-motivated, dependable, and willing to learn and advance.<br /> </p> <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise processes. </ul> <p> <strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p> <ul> </p> <li>Safely and reliably lift and carry at least 30 pounds.<br /> </p> <li>Push or pull up to 180 pounds with assistance from a hand dolly.<br /> </p> <li>Stand, sit, walk, and balance frequently throughout the shift.<br /> </p> <li>Perform repetitive hand work, with tasks rotating daily.<br /> </p> <li>Work 8–10 hours as required.<br /> </p> <li>Work in an uncontrolled climate, including periods of excessive heat. </ul> <p>10397376</p>
