About the Role Our client, a highly respected plumbing and heating company serving the Mississauga, Ontario, CA area, is looking for dedicated individuals to join their team as Apprentice Plumbers. This is an excellent pathway for those interested in a skilled trade, offering comprehensive training in all aspects of plumbing systems for both new builds and renovation projects. You will work alongside experienced journeymen plumbers, learning essential skills in pipe fitting, fixture installation, and system maintenance, contributing to the essential infrastructure within Ontario . Key Responsibilities Assist licensed plumbers in installing and maintaining water, waste, and venting systems. Learn to read and interpret plumbing blueprints and specifications. Cut, thread, and install pipes made of various materials. Install and service plumbing fixtures, appliances, and equipment. Assemble and install underground and rough piping systems. Perform repairs on existing plumbing systems. Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes and safety standards. Maintain tools and equipment and keep work areas clean and organized. Participate in required classroom technical instruction. Respond to service calls and perform diagnostic checks. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Good physical condition and ability to work in various weather conditions. Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior plumbers. Must possess basic hand tools or be willing to acquire them.
