Amazon & Walmart Marketplace Manager

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Amazon & Walmart Marketplace Manager / PPC Specialist to take ownership of the day-to-day management, advertising, optimisation, and growth of a CPG brand across Amazon and Walmart Marketplace. The primary focus of this role will be PPC management, marketplace performance, listing optimisation, and overall channel growth. Amazon is already an established sales channel for the business, while Walmart Marketplace will need to be set up and launched from scratch . The successful candidate should be comfortable both optimising an existing marketplace operation and building a new marketplace channel from the ground up. The ideal candidate should be capable of operating independently and effectively replacing much of the support traditionally provided by an external marketplace agency. Amazon & Walmart Marketplace Management Manage and optimise the brand's existing Amazon Seller Central account Lead the end-to-end setup and launch of Walmart Marketplace — including account setup, catalogue creation, product listings, content, operational configuration, and launch readiness Take ownership of marketplace performance, account health, listings, inventory, and day-to-day channel management across both platforms Build, manage, and optimise PPC campaigns across Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect once the Walmart channel is live Conduct keyword, search-term, competitor, and product-targeting research Optimise campaign bids, budgets, placements, match types, negative keywords, and product targets Monitor and improve key metrics including ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, and advertising-attributed revenue Identify opportunities to reduce wasted spend while increasing profitable marketplace growth Optimise product titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend keywords, attributes, and listing content Recommend improvements to product imagery, A+ Content, storefronts, and other conversion-focused creative Monitor listing suppressions, catalogue issues, account health, pricing, stock levels, and competitor activity Support marketplace promotions, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and key retail events Provide clear reporting and actionable recommendations on sales, advertising, conversion, and profitability 2. Marketplace Reporting & Analysis Produce regular performance reporting across Amazon and Walmart Track sales, advertising spend, profitability, conversion, traffic, and marketplace growth Clearly communicate what happened, why it happened, and what action should be taken next Identify trends and issues before they materially impact performance Make proactive recommendations rather than waiting for instructions Required Skills & Experience Experience 3+ years of hands-on Amazon marketplace management experience; strong Amazon PPC experience with evidence of personally managing and optimising campaigns Amazon Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central; experience with keyword research, listing optimisation, and marketplace SEO; strong analytical understanding of ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, CPC, CTR, conversion rates, and profitability Walmart Previous experience setting up and launching Walmart Marketplace accounts from scratch is strongly preferred; strong understanding of Walmart Seller Center, catalogue setup, listing creation, and marketplace operations; experience with Walmart Connect advertising strongly preferred Analytical Highly analytical and comfortable working with performance data; strong Excel or Google Sheets skills Industry Experience with CPG, food & beverage, grocery, or consumer brands strongly preferred Communication Excellent written and spoken English Profile Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of a channel rather than waiting for individual tasks; able to operate independently and replace much of the support typically provided by an external agency Bonus TikTok Shop management experience Originally posted on
