Advisor, Broker Channels

A career as an Advisor, Broker Channels in the call center at National Bank means fulfilling your ambitions while helping improve the lives of our clients, your colleagues, and yourself.

Through your warm approach and the quality of your remote advisory services, you act as the first point of contact for new clients who begin their relationship with National Bank after securing their mortgage financing through an external broker.

Your Role:

  • Deliver a high-quality client experience by simplifying and explaining the key elements related to their new mortgage financing through various communication channels.
  • Identify client needs and guide them toward the most appropriate distribution channel for their situation, to strengthen their engagement with the Bank.
  • Stay informed on trends and developments in the Canadian financial industry in order to propose relevant and tailored solutions.
  • Develop a strong expertise in the Bank's products and services and clearly demonstrate their value based on the specific needs of each client.

Your Team:

You will be part of a growing and evolving team that is passionate about financial advice and building strong client relationships. Reporting to the Manager, you will benefit from a structured development path and tailored coaching to deepen your knowledge of our solutions and enhance your advisory approach.

Your work schedule typically falls between Monday and Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The schedule is variable and provided three weeks in advance. It includes one evening shift per week until 8:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma (DEC) with three years of experience, or university certificate with two years of experience, or bachelor's degree with one year of experience.
  • Experience in client advisory roles, ideally within the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of mortgage products.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including external partners.
  • Interest in outbound calls for business development purposes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment and manage ambiguity.
