Advanced Mfg Engineer Sr Adv

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead efforts to reduce non ‑ conforming material at the site PRB location through root ‑ cause analysis, corrective actions, and cross ‑ functional coordination.

  • Facilitate and lead weekly Yield Improvement meetings, track actions, and drive root ‑ cause elimination.

  • Own AME projects and project planning - schedules, milestones, resource needs, and risk management.

  • Coordinate cross‑functional project teams (design, quality, supply chain, operations).

  • Track and report project status to leadership.

  • Support development teams by validating manufacturability, readiness, and smooth transition into production.

  • Maintain, optimize, and document assigned production processes, including standard work and controlled manufacturing documentation.

  • Address daily line disruptions, troubleshoot defects, and drive resolution of QNs, CARs, and PROs.

  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Design Engineering to resolve technical and systemic issues.

Qualifications The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and CSP security clearance.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical, Computer Systems, Mechanical)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization.

WE VALUE

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry and/or Electronics manufacturing.

  • Experience in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes.

  • Experience in the use of Lean tools

  • Experience with design and development processes

  • Basic knowledge of the field's standards and specifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams

  • Strong communication skills

  • Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes

  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision

  • Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done.
