Administrative Assistant/Dispatcher/ Accounting

Capital Plumbing & Heating is seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Dispatcher / Accounting Assistant to join our growing team.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating service calls, supporting customers, and keeping daily operations running efficiently.

Available Shifts

  • Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Compensation

$23.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch and schedule technicians efficiently throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
  • Answer incoming customer calls and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Build positive relationships while interacting with residential and commercial customers across the GTA and surrounding regions.
  • Create and process customer invoices accurately.
  • Coordinate appointments and maintain technician schedules.
  • Update customer records, work orders, and service information.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians, suppliers, and customers.
  • Perform general administrative and accounting support duties.

Qualifications

  • Previous dispatching experience is preferred.
  • Experience with invoicing and basic accounting.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer software.
  • Knowledge of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding regions is a strong asset.
  • Experience in the plumbing, HVAC, or construction industry is considered an asset.
